Two Hearts. One Vision.

Rawmance isn’t just a name - it’s how we see the world

We're a couple of wedding photographers who believe that love, in its purest form, doesn’t need to be staged. It just needs to be seen and felt.

To us, a wedding isn't about stiff traditions or perfect poses — it’s about capturing the real, unfiltered bond between two people choosing each other, completely and unapologetically.

To many, a wedding is a legal formality. To some, it’s a sacred rite. To us, it’s one of the most rebellious, intimate, and powerful ways of saying “This is who we are. This is what we believe in. And this is how we want to live our love.”

That’s the soul of Rawmance — and that’s what we’re here to document.

Nature has always been our greatest inspiration. There's something about the rawness of the outdoors — its untamed beauty, its quiet moments, and its wild energy — that reminds us of what’s real.

The same way nature embraces imperfection and change, we strive to photograph your love exactly as it is: real, raw, and beautifully unfiltered.

We've been together for 11 years, and engaged for the last one. We live in Santa Cruz, our little town by the ocean, where most evenings we pause to watch the sunset and take in how far we’ve come, how much we’re still building together and how excited we are about the future.

We dream of one day having our own camper van and hitting the road to photograph love stories all over the world. For now, we’re lucky to have our little crew: Arya and Lucifer, our two curious cats, and Poppy, the puppy we added to the chaos a few months ago. They remind us to stay grounded and focused on what really matters — connection, presence, and home.

with love, Ruben & Joana
