First time in Norway
Norway has been on our bucket list for a while and we finally made it there on November 2025.
We knew there was no way we could see everything so we decided to start by exploring Oslo. There, we rented a camper van and took off exploring Bergen, Stavanger and the southern coast of Norway. We spent a lot of time driving and to be honest, we felt in awe with all the natural beauty of this place, it’s seems taken out of a fairytale - we kept wanting to stop every 30 min.
The first days in Oslo were spent walking around, having coffee and cinnamon buns and enjoying the golden falling leaves. If you’re ever in Oslo you can’t miss the traditional waffles at Haralds Vaffel
From Oslo we set out to Bergen in our van in search of some snow and fjord views.
We visited Flåm and walked the famous Stegastein; got to see the Tvindefossen waterfall and the coolest wooden church - Fantoft Stavkirke.
Bergen is known as the rainiest city in Europe and this time wasn’t any different. But as Norwegians say “There is no bad weather, only bad clothing”. From Bergen, our trip took us to Stavanger. Between stops for coffee in the morning and city exploring, the best part was being able to hike the Preikestolen before coming back to Oslo.
We loved our time spent in Norway and we came back dreaming about moving there. We can’t wait to travel north and see the northern lights next time.
