Joana & Nick | 1 day in NYC

This photoshoot felt like grabbing coffee with friends and just bringing a camera along.

We spent the day in NYC with Nick and Joana, and honestly? It was such a good time. Nothing overly planned — just the two of them showing us around the city they love.

We kicked things off with coffee (obviously). Talked about life, travel, their favorite neighborhoods and their experience with living in the city. From there, we headed to The Met. Even in those big, echoey museum halls, they made it feel laid-back and personal. They were just doing their thing — walking, laughing, totally in their own world. It honestly felt like we disappeared for a while, which is kind of the dream when we're shooting.

We had to stop to grab pizza for lunch (as you do when in NYC) and it was delicious. We wrapped the day at the New York Public Library — one of those places that feels like a movie set. After wandering through the steps we still had time to enjoy those last moments of golden light.

Looking back at the photos, it’s incredible to remember how much fun we had and to notice how much they clearly love each other. We can’t wait to go back to this city that became so special to us and to revisit this two incredible souls that we can now call friends.
